Building Happiness

Saturday 7/12 & Sunday 7/13, 9 - 10:30 a.m.

Being happy and optimistic benefits your longevity, immune system, creativity, and success, as research is showing more and more. Yet too many folks feel less-than-happy, even with affluence and pleasures in their lives.

We'll look at what leads to deep happiness.

We'll take a happiness profile, from “positive psychology”, to identify which route to joy most suits your style.

We'll practice energy-modifying exercises that help release discomfort and old material and build joy.

Donations are welcome.

Sarah Gillen, LMFT, PCC, a licensed therapist and certified coach with 30 years experience helping people optimize their achievements and satisfaction in life, relationships and work. She has two chapters in Women and the Pursuit of Happiness; Create Your Own Path through Positive Psychology, due out in August, 2008. Her own book, Uncover Joy: Beyond Trauma to the Life You Were Meant to Live, is due out the summer of 2009. For information on Sarah and her services, go to www.sarahgillen.com.
